This Black Leaf 18.8mm Downstem features a 18mm sure ground fitting at both bowl and stem joints, as well as a Slit-style diffuser that allows for an increase in cooling efficiency, compared to standard downstems. To create the Slit Diffuser, the end of the downstem is sealed before a series of lines are cut into the side to create the diffuser.
A Slit Diffuser design allows for an increased cooling effect than a traditional open-ended downstem, as it broadens the airflow and creates a larger amount of smaller bubbles. This slit diffuser down is available in a range of lengths to suit most glass pieces and water-pipes on the market.
