The Black Leaf 18.8mm Quartz Banger has a height of 65mm and contains an added insert bowl also made of Quartz, that serves to keep the banger cleaner and to prolong its life overall. It’s more cost-effective to only have to replace a smaller part over time and use, and the insert dish serves this purpose.
We only recommend taking heat to the banger and no other part of the glass piece, as heating any other part of it away from the banger and insert dish can rupture and break the glass. Remember to take care and slowly heat and cool down the banger while in use.
