The Roor Activated Carbon Adapter allows the use of granules of active carbon (sold separately) along the pathway, to further filter out any bad stuff when in use. Kind of like a water filter jug for your fridge, only for a water pipe instead. This is the larger fitting 18.8mm, with a smaller 14.5mm size also available.
